【お知らせ】次世代シーケンサーのライブラリー調製の自動化
2011年2月16日 10:36 newsキャリパーライフサイエンスは、2011年2月 フロリダにて開催されたAdvances in Genome Biology and Technology （AGBT） meetingにて、次世代シーケンサーのライブラリー調製を自動化できるシステム（Sciclone NGS ワークステーション）を発表致しました。
本システムは、キャリパーの分注装置技術とアプリケーション開発技術の融合により、とかく複雑で面倒な次世代シーケンサー用のライブラリー調製の自動化を可能にしました。キャリパーでは、各種実験を自動化することで、作業の効率化は勿論ですが、日間差・個人差の少ないサンプル調製を実現できると考えています。
なお本装置は、イルミナ社、ライフテック社及びロシュ社の次世代シーケンサーのライブラリー調製を自動化できます。

Illumina library preperation and sequence capture target enrichment are two of the more popular sample prep methodologies for next generation sequencing. Manual plate preps are time consuming and often prone to the nuances of the individual. Increased demand for data is taxing sequencer instrument utilization which is also driving the need to automate sample preparation.
